With the simple touch of a button, the Gaggia Platinum Vision grinds, doses, and brews your espresso. If you prefer, you can switch the Gaggia Platinum Vision to the perfect cappuccino machine and let the Milk Island do all the work of steaming and frothing the milk. A separate frothing attachment, the Milk Island takes the guess work out of frothing milk, and completes the entire process automatically. Simply attach the milk island to your machine (compatible with all Gaggia Platinum machines), pour cold milk into the reservoir, turn the steam knob to the Milk Island setting, and watch as your milk turns into a piping hot, thick and creamy mixture for your cappuccino or latte. Alternatively, you can use the Pannarello wand, sometimes referred to as the turbo frother, which rotates on a ball joint and is used in the traditional manner with a frothing pitcher. Simply submerge the tip of the wand into the milk, and the machine does the rest.
Additionally, Gaggia Platinum Vision is completely programmable. Choose your own grind settings, strength settings, pre-infusion, intensity, etc. A bypass doser allows for the use of your own ground coffee, rather than whole beans. Choose the appropriate settings on the Gaggia LED touch screen display nestled in the stainless steel control panel. All of these features come together to create a very simple, consistent, and reliable machine to operate.
