iRobot's Auto Virtual Wall keeps Roomba right where you want it. The Auto Virtual Wall places a signal in the path you want to create a "hidden" wall for Roomba to stay in one room. This model features the ability to stay powered on all the time, so you do not need to power it on or off.

The Auto Virtual Wall provides an infrared beam of 4 to 7 feet, to block Roomba from doorways or other areas in your home. The Auto Virtual Wall remain on for up to six months, and requires two C batteries (not included)
