The iRobot Looj is a gutter cleaning robot whose powerful, flexible auger discharges debris, clogs, and sludge from your gutters, brushing them clean as it sweeps out dirt. The Looj takes the work and danger out of cleaning gutters.
Cleaning gutters is an essential part of home maintenance, and it a dangerous and time consuming chore. Gutters have to be cleaned regularly to avoid water damage, ice dams, or overspills. Plus, dirty gutters create a breeding ground for carpenter ants, mosquitoes, and other pests.
So how does the iRobot Looj work? The Looj propels itself through gutters, under straps and over downspout holes. It's compact size of 2.25" high by 3.25" wide is a perfect fit for all gutter sizes. The three-stage auger on the iRobot Looj breaks up clogs and is responsible for lifting out debris and brushing gutters clean with a single pass. The Looj spins at an astonishing 500 RPM, so you can rest assured that wet and packed debris will be no match. Plus, since it is waterproof in up to 1 foot of water, the Looj can tackle clogged gutters which may be holding standing water. The time required for the Looj to clean 60 feet of gutters is about 10 minutes, and a full battery charge allows the Looj to clean 250 feet of gutters.
The Looj has a detachable handle which also acts as a wireless remote control. You control the direction of the robot, which can move both forward and backward directions. The auger is also controlled by the remote, so debris is propelled out of the gutter and away from your home.
Simple iRobot Looj Instructions:
- Place your ladder in a secure position, convenient to gutter entry
- Use the included belt clip to carry the Looj while your hands are free to control the ladder
- Remove Looj from detachable handle/remote and place in the gutter
- Using remote, drive Looj back and forth
- Remove Looj and hose off for easy cleanup
