I have had a blue moon full size vac for 10 years and it has been used weekly since then. Never failed me...the hose will lift dirt from around a doiley and not disturb it or lift a mans sports sock right thru to the bag without a hiccup~~depending on the amount of suction you set it for. AMAZING VAC AND I AM NO LONGER ON ASTHMA MEDS! Why, of course the hepa filters have something to do with that. Keep in mind that I had mold, cat dander in my home and corrected both situations and 1 year later...no meds were needed to breath at night. I found my Blue Moon model to be extreemly durable and reliable over the years and would not trade it in....I am looking for parts to just update it...not because it is broken!! Wonderful idea, yeah!
