The Miele S4212 Polaris is a direct replacement for the former Carina model and provides great value within the S4 Galaxy model series. The Polaris is considered an entry-level S4 model with upgradeable options that include; HEPA filter, Turbobrush, and other floor brush options. Six (6) position dial control allows the user to adjust suction from the face of the vacuum. The canister vacuum includes the standard Super Clean Air Filter; however, this can be replaced with the same Active True HEPA filter found on S5 models.
The Polaris Canister includes the Combination Rug & Smooth Floor Tool (SBD 450-3) for general cleaning on a wide range of surfaces. Clip-on tools include; natural bristle brush, furniture, and crevice tool to assist in cleaning nooks and tight spots. The stainless steel telescope wand extends 41”, free wheeling casters allow the canister to move easily, and an extra long retractable cord allows long reach.
The S4 series vacuums are available in three models: The Eclipse S4528, the Neptune S4212, and the Polaris S4212. The determining factor between the models are; color, floor tools, and filtration. All S4 models share the same motor, wand, and suction controls.
