The Miele SBD 550-3 combo floor tool can be used with any Miele canister vacuum. Both bare floors and carpets can be cleaned with this handy tool and is controlled with a simple button. For bare floor cleaning, two rows of brush strips along the front and the back allow you to gently clean without scratching your floors. Additionally, notches along the brushes allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. For carpet and rug cleaning, the brush strips are recessed, allowing the channeled steel sole plate to contact the carpet, pulling air through the vacuum to filter it. A soft, non-scratching roller wheel allows the nozzle to move easily over the floor.

This Miele floor tool is part of the SBD floor tool family which consists of the 350-3, 450-3, and 550-3. The latest version in this series, the SBD 550-3, is composed of metal and includes an extra row of brushes, giving it greater cleaning potential than its predecessors. Though this certainly shouldn't be the only means of cleaning your carpet, it is an excellent addition to a Miele turbobrush or powerbrush. We have listed some for you to browse below.
