There are three different styles of Miele wands, the standard wand, the telescopic wand, and the telescopic electric wand. The standard wand includes one top pipe and one bottom pipe with a cord clip. The telescopic wand consists of a non-electric folding (nesting) wand that fits all Miele canister vacuums. The telescopic electric wand consists of a telescopic wand with electric direct connection for Miele S500 and S600 canisters.

The Miele bottom pipe shown here is part of the standard two-piece wand connecting to non-electric hoses on all Miele vacuum cleaners. The stainless steel wand is built to last for many years, even in humid climates. The friction fitting at the top of the wand connects to the wand or hose, while the square fitting at the bottom of the pipe allows you to attach floor tools and accessories securely. This pipe is also used as the bottom piece for canister vacuums which utilize two wands rather than a non-electric telecoping one. Please note that the bottom pipe does not have a latch like the top pipe.

The two piece wand style can be replaced with a telescopic wand, but it must be a non-electric telescoping wand such as the Miele Non-Electric Telescopic Wand or the Miele Telescopic Triscope Wand. Please call our knowledgeable staff if you have any questions at 1-866-927-4327.
